YEA Media Group started with one man and one radio show: the late, Kidd Kraddick. A legend in the industry, he was a comedian, an entrepreneur, a creator, a visionary, a philanthropist and more. Kidd was always ahead of the tech curve, finding ways to use the internet to enhance the business of radio. He created, built and subsequently sold several companies such as “BitBoard” and “The Morning Mouth.”
Never afraid to take the big risk, Kidd took control of his own show (Kidd Kraddick in the Morning), hired the best people and began to self-syndicate the show across the US.
In 2011, he hired George Laughlin as CEO of YEA, with the goal to diversify the company. One of their first investments was in The Infinite Agency, which grew from a handful of employees to become a nationally awarded agency with clients including Anheuser-Busch, Pizza Hut, Six Flags and many more.
While Kraddick passed away in 2013, his legacy and the company lived on. YEA grew to include numerous investments and partnerships with more agencies, radio shows, television shows, podcasts, conventions, and experiential companies.
Based in Irving, Texas, YMG continues to expand, while remembering and honoring David “Kidd” Kraddick.
